NIU quarterback Jordan Lynch threw for 3,138 yards and 25 TDs last season. He added 1,815 yards and 19 TDs on the ground. He led the Huskies to 12-straight wins, a conference championship, and the first BCS berth in the history of the MAC. Since arriving in DeKalb Lynch's Huskies are one of only two NCAA teams (what up, Stanford?) with at least 11 wins in each of the past three seasons despite having at least two coaches. Things may change in the football offices, but two things have remained constant at NIU: Jordan Lynch and winning.
How do follow that success up as a senior?
How about an undefeated season, a MAC championship, a BCS berth and a shot at the Heisman? That's all on the table for Lynch and the Huskies as they prepare for another season in what should be a (mildly) depleted conference. Lynch is one of the most electrifying QBs in decades, and with a BCS berth behind them he and the Huskies will be on the national radar from day one. How long they stay there will be up to #6.
